I’ve always enjoyed painting wildlife. As soon as I saw the reference photo of this red fox on a fallen tree, I knew I had to paint it. I thought it might take me the rest of the summer, but it took took about ten days. My thanks to Connie Gaube for allowing me to use her lovely photo. I’d previously painted the horse in Windswept Silver from another of her photos.
