This scene is from St. Vincent’s Beach in Newfoundland, where it’s possible to stand on the shore and see pods of humpback whales cavorting about. They come in very close because the water becomes ocean-deep within a few meters of the shoreline.
Another in my series of rock musicians performing live, this new painting features Mick Jagger and Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones, as they were in 2003. I’ll be seeing them in concert later this year and couldn’t resist doing a painting of them in advance.
In something of a record for me, here is a second painting completed just the day after the last one. This is Raina at her bath. The painting will appear in a forthcoming textbook.
This is my son Jamieson as a baby, playing along while pretending to read what’s expected of him in the approaching toddler years. The painting will appear in the second edition of a forthcoming textbook.
