Yesterday I completed the painting “Off Sandy Strait,” a winter scene featuring a caribou off the Buchans highway in Newfoundland. The other news is that the painting I finished before this one, “Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse,” will be featured in a live charity auction

On New Years Eve, I finished the painting “Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse,” a scene in Gros Morne National Park on the west coast of Newfoundland.

Today I completed the painting “Steeplechase,” which was inspired by re-reading some of the novels of Dick Francis.

I’ve posted  a new painting, “Narrows Below.” It’s a view of the entrance to the harbor in St. John’s, Newfoundland, from the viewpoint of Signal Hill.

I’m pleased to announce that the painting “Rosie Waits” sold for $1,600 at last Friday’s charity auction to support Newfoundland rugby.
