Yesterday I completed the painting “Off Sandy Strait,” a winter scene featuring a caribou off the Buchans highway in Newfoundland.

The other news is that the painting I finished before this one, “Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse,” will be featured in a live charity auction to support Newfoundland Rugby. This annual event will be held at the Delta Hotel in St. John’s on January 27, 2017. More details about the auction (list of items, program, bidding instructions, etc) should soon be available on the Newfoundland Rugby website.
