I missed the end of the auction, but I’ve since been told that the original and the remarque together fetched about $1,500 which will go to support amateur rugby in Newfoundland…

The greeting cards and open edition print of “Newfoundland Breach” were printed today, and should be available to order from the distributor within a few days.

Here’s the companion to “Sax on George” with my son playing his trumpet on George Street. Having painted my daughter, I couldn’t delay too long before painting my son, and in fact a number of people had emailed to ask when I would be finishing this one!

A poster print, with matching greeting cards, is now in production of the painting “Newfoundland Breach.” It should be available by mid to late September.

Completed a new painting entitled “Newfoundland Breach.” I’m certain to receive a few inquiries from discerning Newfoundlanders about this one! I’ve also added a few in-progress images of this painting to the Works-in-Progress gallery.

I’ve uploaded an image of the third painting in the “Newfoundland Music” theme, this one entitled “Sax on George.” I’ll be changing gears now to work on an outport or fishing scene, and after that I’ll be returning again to the music theme.

It’s been a few months since the last update, and many people have been asking when the next new image will appear. I hope to have a new painting to display by a month from now (+/-). Once more the day job and other aspects of life interfere with the painting efforts… A remarque
