Now I’ve completed most of the buildings and I added in five people. I often don’t have people in the landscapes but this time I chose to add them. That got me thinking of a working title for this painting which I later abandoned: “Standin’ on the Dock of the Baie.” I’ve been told that puns should never be explained, so I won’t. But that one is a bit esoteric and didn’t work when I tried it out.
