Description:
Depicted here is Ramea, a small town located on Northwest Island off the south coast of Newfoundland. Its population is estimated to be about 500 and has been declining due to the effects of the cod moratorium. This is my second painting of Ramea; the earlier one was “Rust in Ramea.”
