Description:
These three fishing boats are docked in Benoit’s Cove, a community that forms part of the town of Humber Arm South in the Bay of Islands, Newfoundland. It’s named after early French settlers who made their livelihood there catching and selling fish. Another community in this town is called Frenchman’s Cove, and I have some reference photos from there that I may eventually use for a painting or two.
