Description:
All of the fish have now been completed and, like the turtles, only finishing touches remained to do once the background had been painted in. The favourite of all is Fred the Puffer Fish, the white-spotted one swimming in from the right side. I was tempted to leave the painting almost as is, with perhaps just a few faint streaks of blue to suggest the water in the background – but no, I wanted the full effect of the blue/green Hawaiian water. Achieving it would be no easy task with all of these completed fish and turtles in the way.
