New painting “Newfoundland Breach”

Completed a new painting entitled “Newfoundland Breach.” I’m certain to receive a few inquiries from discerning Newfoundlanders about this one! I’ve also added a few in-progress images of this painting to the Works-in-Progress gallery.

New painting “Sax on George”

I’ve uploaded an image of the third painting in the “Newfoundland Music” theme, this one entitled “Sax on George.” I’ll be changing gears now to work on an outport or fishing scene, and after that I’ll be returning again to the music theme.

It’s been a few months since the last update, and many people have been asking when the next new image will appear. I hope to have a new painting to display by a month from now (+/-). Once more the day job and other aspects of life interfere with the painting efforts… A remarque

Originals grouped by theme

Another revision to the website overnight is that paintings in the Portfolio of Originals are now grouped into themes, with each theme having its own page(s). Previously all paintings were shown together on a single, large page.

New “Works-in-Progress” section to Gallery

A new section has been added to the Gallery which will show photos of paintings at various stages of completion. Today I uploaded images of “Fiddle About” but there weren’t as many images as planned because the digital camera went in for repairs TWICE while I was working on it

Completed a new painting today, the second in the series featuring musical instruments in a Newfoundland setting. This one features a fiddler in front of a barn in the town of New Harbour.

New open edition print and greeting cards

An open edition print of “Uncrossed Lines” was made today, along with a matched set of greeting cards. These will be available through the distibutor within a couple of days.
